Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Cisco Nexus 3000 devices with software 6.0(2)A6(1)
Description
The issue is related to resource management errors in the NX-OS network operating system. It allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service by creating crafted connections to the Java application, resulting in a Java process restart.
Recommendations
For Cisco Nexus 3000 devices with software 6.0(2)A6(1), consider restricting access to the Java application to minimize the risk of exploitation until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, limiting connections to the Java application may help mitigate the issue. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
