Description
The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service due to memory corruption via a crafted media file. It is caused by a buffer overflow in the Skia component of the Android operating system.
Recommendations
For versions prior to 5.1.1 LMY48T, update to version 5.1.1 LMY48T or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the use of media files from untrusted sources until the update is applied.
