Description
The issue arises from the kernel's mishandling of junctions during mountpoint creation, making it easier for local users to gain privileges by leveraging certain sandbox access. This is due to insufficient input validation, which can be exploited by a local attacker to manipulate the sandbox mechanism and potentially elevate their privileges. An attacker who successfully exploits this issue could run arbitrary code in the security context of the user running a compromised application.
