VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:C/I:C/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Acrobat Document Cloud (affected versions not specified) Adobe Reader and Adobe Reader Document Cloud (affected versions not specified)
Description The issue is related to a use-after-free vulnerability, which occurs when memory is accessed after it has been freed. This can be exploited by a remote attacker using a specially crafted OCG object, potentially allowing the execution of arbitrary code.
Recommendations For Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Acrobat Document Cloud, consider disabling the WillSave function related to OCG objects as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. For Adobe Reader and Adobe Reader Document Cloud, restrict access to OCG objects to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
