Description The issue is related to errors in the code of the Server: DML subcomponent of the MySQL database management system. It allows a remote attacker to affect the availability of the system. Successful exploitation can result in the ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash of the MySQL Server, leading to a denial of service. The vulnerability can be exploited by a high-privileged attacker with network access via multiple protocols.
Recommendations For Oracle MySQL Server versions 5.6.23 and earlier, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
