Description The issue is related to errors in the code of the Client programs subcomponent in the MySQL database management system. Exploitation of this issue may allow a local attacker to access the MySQL Server or execute arbitrary code, affecting confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
Recommendations For Oracle MySQL Server versions 5.5.44 and earlier, update to a version later than 5.5.44 to resolve the issue. For Oracle MySQL Server versions 5.6.25 and earlier, update to a version later than 5.6.25 to resolve the issue.
