CVSS v2.0

4.0

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:S/C:N/I:N/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Oracle MySQL Server versions 5.5.44 and earlier
Description The issue allows remote authenticated users to affect the availability of the system via unknown vectors related to the Server: InnoDB component. This is due to errors in the code. The exploitation of this issue can lead to a denial of service, allowing an attacker to cause a hang or crash of the MySQL Server.
Recommendations For Oracle MySQL Server versions 5.5.44 and earlier, consider restricting access to the InnoDB component to minimize the risk of exploitation until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the InnoDB component until a patch is available. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
