Description The issue exists due to insufficient input validation in the Adobe Type Manager Library component of the Windows operating system. This allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code by using a specially crafted font file. The estimated number of potentially affected devices worldwide is not specified.
Recommendations For Windows Vista SP2, Windows Server 2008 SP2 and R2 SP1, Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2012 Gold and R2, Windows RT Gold and 8.1, and Windows 10 Gold and 1511, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
