Description
The issue is related to errors in the code of the DML component of the MySQL database management system. It allows a remote attacker to affect availability via vectors related to DML, potentially causing the system to hang or crash. The vulnerability can be exploited by a high-privileged attacker with network access via multiple protocols, resulting in the ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash of the MySQL Server.

For Oracle MySQL versions 5.5.46 and earlier, update to a version later than 5.5.46.
For Oracle MySQL versions 5.6.27 and earlier, update to a version later than 5.6.27.
For Oracle MySQL versions 5.7.9 and earlier, update to a version later than 5.7.9.
