Description The issue is related to errors in the code of the InnoDB component of the MySQL database management system. Exploitation of this issue may allow a remote attacker to cause a partial denial of service using network packets. The vulnerability can be exploited by a high-privileged attacker with network access via multiple protocols, potentially resulting in the ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash of the MySQL Server.
Recommendations For MySQL versions 5.5.46 and earlier, update to a version later than 5.5.46. For MySQL versions 5.6.27 and earlier, update to a version later than 5.6.27. For MySQL versions 5.7.9 and earlier, update to a version later than 5.7.9. For MariaDB versions 5.5.x before 5.5.47, update to version 5.5.47 or later. For MariaDB versions 10.0.x before 10.0.23, update to version 10.0.23 or later. For MariaDB versions 10.1.x before 10.1.10, update to version 10.1.10 or later.
