Description The issue is related to errors in the code of the MySQL database management system, specifically in the encryption component. This can be exploited by a remote attacker to modify, add, or delete data using network packets. The vulnerability affects the integrity of the system and can be exploited via unknown vectors related to encryption. A successful attack can result in the unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash of the MySQL Server.
