Description The issue is related to an XML External Entity (XXE) problem, where an incorrect restriction of XML links to external objects allows a remote attacker to read arbitrary files. This can be achieved by using a specially crafted iBook file that contains references to external XML objects.

Recommendations For Apple iOS versions prior to 9.2, update to version 9.2 or later to resolve the issue. For Apple OS X versions prior to 10.11.2, update to version 10.11.2 or later to resolve the issue.
