5.0

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:N/I:N/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions libxml2 versions prior to 2.9.3
Description The issue is related to a heap-based buffer overflow in the xmlDictComputeFastQKey function in dict.c in libxml2. This allows context-dependent attackers to cause a denial of service via unspecified vectors. The vulnerability can be exploited by a remote attacker to achieve a denial of service.
