Description
The issue is related to the
/bin/appmgr application in the D-Link DWR-932B router's firmware, which allows access to the device without authentication. An attacker can exploit this by sending a HELODBG string to UDP port 33889, resulting in the execution of the /sbin/telnetd -l /bin/sh command, granting root privileges.Recommendations
