Description The issue is related to the phar get entry data function, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference and application crash) via a .phar file with a crafted TAR archive entry. This entry has a Link indicator that references a file that does not exist, leading to errors when trying to access the non-existent file.
Recommendations For PHP versions prior to 5.5.30, update to version 5.5.30 or later. For PHP versions 5.6.x prior to 5.6.14, update to version 5.6.14 or later.
