| Vector | AV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
MemHT Portal version 4.0.1
Description
The issue allows remote attackers to hijack the authentication of administrators for requests. This can be achieved through multiple cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerabilities that enable modification of settings, articles, or credentials. Specifically, the vulnerabilities affect requests to admin.php for configuration actions, articles actions, or users actions.
Recommendations
For MemHT Portal version 4.0.1, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the admin.php endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the admin.php endpoint for configuration, articles, or users actions until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
