CVE-2011-5285

CVSS v2.0

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions BugFree version 2.1.3
Description The issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML, potentially leading to cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks. This can be achieved via several parameters and endpoints, including the ActionType parameter to "Bug.php", the ReportMode parameter to "Report.php" or "ReportLeft.php", or the PATH INFO to "AdminProjectList.php", "AdminGroupList.php", or "AdminUserLogList.php".
Recommendations For BugFree version 2.1.3, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the vulnerable endpoints and parameters, such as ActionType in "Bug.php", ReportMode in "Report.php" and "ReportLeft.php", and PATH INFO in "AdminProjectList.php", "AdminGroupList.php", and "AdminUserLogList.php", until a patch is available. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
