CVE-2014-10023

CVSS v2.0

7.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions TopicsViewer version 3.0 Beta 1
Description The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands. This is achieved via the id parameter to several API endpoints, including "edit block.php", "edit cat.php", "edit note.php", and "rmv topic.php" in the "admincp/" directory.
Recommendations For TopicsViewer version 3.0 Beta 1, consider restricting access to the id parameter in the affected API endpoints until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the id parameter in the "edit block.php", "edit cat.php", "edit note.php", and "rmv topic.php" endpoints to minimize the risk of exploitation.
