Description
The issue is related to a use-after-free vulnerability in the
matroska read seek function. This vulnerability can be triggered by a crafted Matroska file, leading to improper maintenance of tracks data. As a result, remote attackers can cause a denial of service or possibly have other unspecified impacts.Recommendations
For FFmpeg versions prior to 2.5.1, update to version 2.5.1 or later to resolve the issue.
For Google Chrome versions prior to 40.0.2214.91, update to version 40.0.2214.91 or later to resolve the issue.
