Description
The issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the
SessionID parameter to API endpoints such as "Join.aspx" or "Logon.aspx". This can lead to cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.Recommendations
For InstantASP InstantForum.NET versions 3.4.0 through 4.1.3, consider restricting access to the
SessionID parameter in the affected API endpoints "Join.aspx" and "Logon.aspx" to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.XSS
