CVE-2014-9473

CVSS v2.0

7.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions CformsII plugin versions 14.7 and earlier
Description The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by uploading a file with an executable extension via the cf uploadfile2[] parameter, then accessing the file via a direct request to the file in the default upload directory.
Recommendations For CformsII plugin versions 14.7 and earlier, consider disabling the file upload functionality in lib nonajax.php until a patch is available. Restrict access to the default upload directory to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the cf uploadfile2[] parameter in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
