CVE-2014-9599

CVSS v2.0

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions b2evolution versions prior to 5.2.1
Description A cross-site scripting (XSS) issue exists, allowing remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML. This is achieved via the fm filter parameter to the "blogs/admin.php" API endpoint.
Recommendations For versions prior to 5.2.1, update to version 5.2.1 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the filemanager in blogs/admin.php to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the fm filter parameter in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved.
