Description A use-after-free issue in PDFium, used by Google Chrome, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service or possibly have other unspecified impacts via a crafted PDF document. This issue is related to the files fpdfsdk/src/fpdfview.cpp and fpdfsdk/src/fsdk mgr.cpp.

Recommendations For versions prior to 40.0.2214.91, update to version 40.0.2214.91 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider avoiding the use of crafted PDF documents until the update is applied.
