Description The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service due to a stack-based buffer overflow. This occurs because the CFF CharString interpreter in FreeType proceeds with additional hints after the hint mask has been computed when processing a crafted OpenType font.

Recommendations For versions prior to 2.5.4, update to version 2.5.4 or later to resolve the issue.
