Description
The issue is caused by the improper handling of objects in memory by the Windows kernel-mode driver (Win32k.sys), allowing local users to gain elevated privileges or cause a denial of service. An attacker who successfully exploits this could gain elevated privileges, enabling them to install programs, view, change, or delete data, or create new accounts with full administrative rights.
