CVE-2015-1578

CVSS v2.0

5.8

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions u5CMS versions prior to 3.9.4
Description The issue allows remote attackers to redirect users to arbitrary web sites and conduct phishing attacks. This can be achieved via a URL in the pidvesa cookie to "u5admin/pidvesa.php" or the uri parameter to "u5admin/meta2.php".
Recommendations For versions prior to 3.9.4, update to version 3.9.4 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the "u5admin/pidvesa.php" and "u5admin/meta2.php" endpoints to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the pidvesa cookie and uri parameter in the affected API endpoints until the issue is resolved.
