| Vector | AV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:P/I:N/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Microsoft Internet Explorer version 11
Description
A security feature bypass issue exists due to the failure of Internet Explorer to use the Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR) security feature. This allows an attacker to more reliably predict memory offsets, potentially bypassing ASLR protection when combined with another vulnerability, such as a remote code execution issue. The bypass by itself does not enable arbitrary code execution but could facilitate it when used with another vulnerability.
Recommendations
For Microsoft Internet Explorer version 11, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
