Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
phpMoAdmin version 1.1.2
Description
The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands. This is achieved by injecting shell metacharacters in the
object parameter of the saveObject function in moadmin.php.Recommendations
For phpMoAdmin version 1.1.2, consider disabling the
saveObject function until a patch is available to prevent the execution of arbitrary commands. Restrict access to the moadmin.php file to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the object parameter in the affected function until the issue is resolved.Exploit
