Description
A remote code execution issue exists due to improper handling of logging activities by Server Message Block (SMB), resulting in memory corruption. This could allow an attacker to take complete control of an affected system, enabling them to install programs, view, change, or delete data, or create new accounts with full user rights.
Recommendations
For Microsoft Windows Vista SP2 and Server 2008 SP2, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
