Description The issue is related to the support of SSL 2.0 by the WebDAV client, which allows remote attackers to defeat cryptographic protection mechanisms. This can be achieved by sniffing the network and conducting a decryption attack. An attacker who successfully exploits this issue could decrypt portions of encrypted traffic.
Recommendations For Microsoft Windows Vista SP2, update to disable SSL 2.0 support in the WebDAV client. For Microsoft Windows Server 2008 SP2 and R2 SP1, update to disable SSL 2.0 support in the WebDAV client. For Microsoft Windows 7 SP1, update to disable SSL 2.0 support in the WebDAV client. For Microsoft Windows 8, update to disable SSL 2.0 support in the WebDAV client. For Microsoft Windows 8.1, update to disable SSL 2.0 support in the WebDAV client. For Microsoft Windows Server 2012 Gold and R2, update to disable SSL 2.0 support in the WebDAV client. For Microsoft Windows RT Gold and 8.1, update to disable SSL 2.0 support in the WebDAV client.
