Description The issue allows user-assisted man-in-the-middle attackers to bypass intended access restrictions. This can be achieved by triggering a user dialog for an X.509 certificate problem, such as an expired certificate or a mismatched hostname for a domain with pinning enabled.
Recommendations For Mozilla Firefox versions prior to 39.0, update to version 39.0 or later to resolve the issue. For Firefox ESR versions prior to 38.1, update to version 38.1 or later to resolve the issue. For Thunderbird versions prior to 38.1, update to version 38.1 or later to resolve the issue.
