| Vector | AV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:C/I:C/A:C |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
TimeDoctor Pro version 1.4.72.3
Description
The issue concerns the autoupdate implementation, which uses unsigned installer files retrieved without SSL. This makes it easier for man-in-the-middle attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted file.
Recommendations
For TimeDoctor Pro version 1.4.72.3, consider disabling the autoupdate feature until a secure update mechanism is implemented. Restrict access to the update process to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using unsecured connections for updating the software until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
