CVSS v2.0

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions SilverStripe CMS & Framework version 3.1.13
Description The issue concerns multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities. These vulnerabilities allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the admin username or admin password parameter to the "install.php" endpoint.
Recommendations For SilverStripe CMS & Framework version 3.1.13, consider restricting access to the install.php endpoint until a fix is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the admin username and admin password parameters in the install.php endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
