Description
The issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service by triggering packet fragmentation and reassembly, resulting in ESP QFP CPU consumption.

For Cisco ASR 1000 devices with software version 15.5(3)S, consider applying configuration changes to prevent packet fragmentation and reassembly, or temporarily restrict access to the device to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
