Description
The issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via several parameters in the install classic.php file. The vulnerable parameters include
admin username, admin password, admin email, dbserver, dbname, dbuser, dbpass, table prefix, and impath.Recommendations
For Coppermine Photo Gallery version 1.5.36, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the install classic.php file until a patch is available. Avoid using the vulnerable parameters in the install classic.php file until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
