CVE-2015-6782

CVSS v2.0

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Google Chrome versions prior to 47.0.2526.73 Opera (affected versions not specified)
Description The issue arises from the Document::open function in WebKit/Source/core/dom/Document.cpp, which does not ensure compatibility between page-dismissal event handling and modal-dialog blocking. This makes it easier for remote attackers to spoof Omnibox content via a crafted web site.
Recommendations For Google Chrome versions prior to 47.0.2526.73, update to version 47.0.2526.73 or later to resolve the issue. For Opera, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
