Description The issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML. This can be achieved via the adminUserName, pathToMYSQL, databaseStructureFile, or pathToBibutils parameters to "install.php" or the adminUserName parameter to "update.php".
Recommendations For refbase versions through 0.9.6, avoid using the adminUserName, pathToMYSQL, databaseStructureFile, or pathToBibutils parameters in "install.php" until the issue is resolved. For refbase bleeding-edge versions through 2015-04-28, restrict access to the adminUserName parameter in "update.php" to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
