Description
The issue is related to the pptp bind and pptp connect functions in the Linux kernel, which do not verify an address length. This allows local users to obtain sensitive information from kernel memory and bypass the KASLR protection mechanism via a crafted application.
Recommendations
For Linux kernel versions prior to 4.3.3, update to version 4.3.3 or later to resolve the issue.
