CVE-2016-0080

CVSS v2.0

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:P/I:N/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Microsoft Edge (affected versions not specified)
Description The issue is related to how Microsoft Edge handles exceptions during window-message dispatch operations, allowing remote attackers to bypass the Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR) protection mechanism via a crafted web site. This bypass does not allow arbitrary code execution on its own but could be used in conjunction with another vulnerability, such as a remote code execution vulnerability, to run arbitrary code on a target system.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
