Description The issue is related to the Extensions subsystem, which does not properly restrict access to certain functions. This allows remote attackers to bypass the Same Origin Policy using crafted JavaScript code, specifically by exploiting the Object.defineProperty method to override intended extension behavior.
Recommendations For Google Chrome versions prior to 48.0.2564.109, update to version 48.0.2564.109 or later to resolve the issue. For Opera, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
