Description
The issue is caused by a buffer overflow in the
Machine::Code::decoder::analysis::set ref function. This can be exploited by a remote attacker using a specially crafted Graphite smart font, potentially allowing the execution of arbitrary code or causing a denial of service due to memory corruption.Recommendations
For Graphite 2 versions prior to 1.3.6, update to version 1.3.6 or later.
For Mozilla Firefox versions prior to 45.0, update to version 45.0 or later.
For Firefox ESR versions 38.x prior to 38.7, update to version 38.7 or later.
