Description
The issue is related to a lack of protection for sensitive data in the Hyper-V hardware virtualization system, allowing attackers to obtain sensitive information from the host OS memory. This can be achieved by exploiting the vulnerability using a specially crafted application.
Recommendations
For Microsoft Windows Hyper-V in Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2012 Gold and R2, and Windows 10, consider restricting access to the virtualization environment to minimize the risk of exploitation until a patch is available.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
