Description
The issue is related to errors in the code of the MySQL database management system, specifically in the DML server component. It allows a remote attacker to impact the confidentiality of information by affecting the server. Local users can also affect confidentiality via vectors related to DML. The vulnerability can be easily exploited by a high-privileged attacker with network access via multiple protocols, potentially leading to a hang or crash of the MySQL Server.

For MySQL versions 5.5.48 and earlier, update to a version later than 5.5.48.
For MySQL versions 5.6.29 and earlier, update to a version later than 5.6.29.
For MySQL versions 5.7.11 and earlier, update to a version later than 5.7.11.
