Description The issue is related to errors in the code of the MySQL database management system. Exploitation of this issue may allow a remote attacker to impact the integrity and availability of information by affecting the DML server. The vulnerability can be easily exploited by a high-privileged attacker with network access via multiple protocols, potentially leading to a hang or crash of the MySQL Server.
Recommendations For MySQL versions 5.5.47 and earlier, update to a version later than 5.5.47. For MySQL versions 5.6.28 and earlier, update to a version later than 5.6.28. For MySQL versions 5.7.10 and earlier, update to a version later than 5.7.10. For MariaDB versions prior to 5.5.48, update to version 5.5.48 or later. For MariaDB versions 10.0.x prior to 10.0.24, update to version 10.0.24 or later. For MariaDB versions 10.1.x prior to 10.1.12, update to version 10.1.12 or later.
