Description
The issue is caused by a buffer overflow in the Windows Imaging Component. It allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a specially crafted document. This can enable an attacker to run arbitrary code on the system.
Recommendations
For Windows Vista SP2, Windows Server 2008 SP2 and R2 SP1, Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2012 Gold and R2, Windows RT 8.1, and Windows 10 Gold and 1511, update to a version that includes the fix for the Windows Imaging Component Memory Corruption issue.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
