Description The issue is caused by a buffer overflow in the Chakra JavaScript engine of Microsoft Edge. Exploitation of this issue may allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (memory corruption) by using a specially crafted website. The vulnerabilities can corrupt memory, enabling an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the context of the current user. If the current user has administrative rights, a successful exploitation could allow the attacker to take control of the affected system, install programs, view, change, or delete data, or create new accounts with full user rights.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
