Description The issue is related to the createCustomType function in the extensions/renderer/resources/binding.js module of the extension bindings. This function does not validate module types, which could allow remote attackers to load arbitrary modules or obtain sensitive information by leveraging a poisoned definition.
Recommendations For Google Chrome versions prior to 51.0.2704.79, update to version 51.0.2704.79 or later to resolve the issue. For Opera, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
