Description The issue is related to insufficient access restrictions in the dynamically loaded library atmfd.dll, part of the Adobe Type Manager Font Driver in Microsoft Windows. This can be exploited by a local attacker using a specially crafted application to gain elevated privileges. The estimated number of potentially affected devices is not specified.
Recommendations For Windows Vista SP2, Windows Server 2008 SP2 and R2 SP1, Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2012 Gold and R2, Windows RT 8.1, and Windows 10 Gold and 1511, update to a version that includes the fix for the atmfd.dll elevation of privilege issue. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
