If the current user has administrative rights, an attacker could take control of the affected system, install programs, view or modify data, or create new accounts.
Recommendations
For Microsoft Internet Explorer 11, update to a version that includes the fix for the scripting engine memory corruption issue.
For Microsoft Edge, update to a version that includes the fix for the scripting engine memory corruption issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to potentially vulnerable web sites to minimize the risk of exploitation.
