Description The issue is related to the nsDisplayList::HitTest function mishandling rendering display transformation, which can be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted web site. This exploit leverages "type confusion." The vulnerability is associated with incorrect rendering of screen changes.
Recommendations For Mozilla Firefox versions prior to 48.0, update to version 48.0 or later. For Firefox ESR versions prior to 45.3, update to version 45.3 or later.
